The Eastern Guard was a fortress built high in the last of the ridges of the Ered Glamhoth and was the south eastern most guard of Mordor. None who walked the Khand Road from the south would go unseen by the lidless eyes of this fortress.
It was said to have been ruled under the Eye of the Dark Tower by a ruthless Lord of Khand.
