It was just a day's sail back from the ports of Gondor. Early in the morn Darre and his counsel arrived in the Elf and Dwarf sanctum of Ossiriand and the Seven Rivers just west of the Ered Luin... Darre had always praised this land beyond all others. Even the Mountains themselves. As soon as he took Kingship of the realm decades ago, he made a strong effort to ensure the merging of the remaining lands of Ossiriand into Ered Luin. By successfully doing so, he added thousends of miles of coastline to a completely land-locked Mountain Range. An astonishing accomplishment.
As soon as they had gotten to land, the Dwarfking has sent for his officers of the armies of Ered Luin. "Musta our forces imediately, Taren! The Dwarves march to war. I want the Minotaurs, Gryphons, Giants and Trolls assembled in our ports here imediately. All Elven and Dwarven personel should report to the Southern Ports across the Gulf of Lune. We set sail for Gondor in two days. Taren. I want ten thousend to remain behind. A diverse group would be preferable. Do you understand?"
