I'm listening to Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day which is about to shift over to Basket Case by Green Day. Those songs aren't so bad but i hate the fucking three that everyone loves just because i've heard them to damn much and they're just a bit retarded now. Im not the person that will hate music because someone else i hate likes it but I never hear the end of it, I will see the time when i need to click the delete button on itunes and move on.
You know what, i'm just going to type endlessly through some of these songs. lol. lets see what shall i rant about today.. hmmm. yes ah yes. my dad gets mad at me because i like to sing the songs that are playing and he always unplugs the damn computer. grrr. he doesnt like my taste in music and would much rather listen to really really homosexual things (not slang, literally) that a guy wouldnt normally listen to unless he really didnt care what was on a certain radio station and was just waiting for a good song to come on. i do that sometimes, but here he is listening to this pish posh because he likes it! Its aphalling.
ooh look The Nobodies by Marilyn Manson just came on. I like Marilyn Manson and Disturbed. You know I just started really listening to alot of their songs on itunes because I was only previously introduced to the mainstream hits that were aired on MTV ect. I think ALOT of the hits are simply awful that they play for some of these bands, but when i search through them and look at the lesser known songs of some of their good cd's i really get excited. For example I LOVE MCR its like my favorite band ever and i thought that Helena, I'm not Okay ect was the shit (excluding ghost of you -could really do without that one-) but then i downloaded the entire Three Chears for Sweet Revenge cd on itunes and liked ALL the songs that weren't those three much better (although i still love helena and im not ok)
Alright now Tainted Love is playing which brings me to another point. Have any of you ever listened to Marilyn Manson's interpretation of the Willy Wonka scene in the orignal movie where they're going through that creepy tunnel on that boat and Willy is reciting that really screwed up poem thing... well Marilyn Manson redid that and I was playing it on the comp... loudly. my dad was sitting on the couch right across from me and as soon as they started talking about hell ect i thought he was just gonna start screaming (hardcore anti demonic stuff ect.)
Well its seems its time for a haircut so my rant will have to come to an end. Until next time. MWARHARHARHARHARHARHAR p.s personal Jesus just came on. mwahahahahahaha

Yeh Marilyn Manson is some good shit. Shame that he's abandoning music for the time being to work on movies and stuff, -_- so no Marilyn this year at Ozzfest most likely.
If you liked Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, buy all of You Brought Me Your Bullets, I Brought You My Love (Or maybe its I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love) off iTunes, it's their first CD and my GOD is it so much better. Especially Headfirst for Halos.

Cigaro - System of a Down
I know System may be a little more mainstream (Mezmerize got a lot of best album of the year nods from critics), but I really, really love their stuff.

I can't call System mainstream - no radio stations here play anything other than HipHop and Rap, except AAF. And besides, I've neve heard System of a Down, but I hear they're good.
Keeping with the gentler theme **coughcough** Jillian (I'd Give My Heart) - Within Temptation
Got 'Silent Force', 'Mother Earth', and 'Best Wishes' for New Years, and 'Oceanborn' for Xmas. That's all that's on iTunes so far =P (I can actually run it on this comp! =P) All my other CDs are crappy except Aerosmith, which was a bday present from and ex-friend... <nostalgia> Those were the days...

HOT DAMN! My baby sister has never heard System of a Down! *logs into his FTP site...* Please sis listen to these and tell me what you think. I don't have many of their earlier songs on this comp, so here's a few from their two latest albums and one from an earlier one. Question! is my favorite SoaD song. citadelofguard.com/music/SoaD*dances, waiting for sister to listen to music...*

OOOH I love Living Dead Girl XD Can't wait for Zombie's new album at the end of this month...
But, yeah, because they're SO HEAVILY rumored for Ozzfest (LINEUP ANNOUNCED TOMMOROW HELL YES) I've been listening to SOAD lately, but not the mainstream hits that they play all the time (B.Y.O.B. and Violent Pornography, anybody?)
So, right now...it's...
She's Like Heroin, by System of a Down

Oh, and just on a rant back there, (something about manager's and Icee's...LOL)
It's even WORSE when you're walking through the mall and you hear a familiar tune in the backround of a rap song.
And then you realize it's one of your all time favorite songs (Crazy Train, in my case) and you want to cry.
But, yeah. Hypnotize by SOAD now. I may move on to Malleus Maleficarum (Pretty unknown but DAMN GOOD. lol can only get a hold of one song of theirs. I'll have to search for their one CD, don't know where but I will find it one day!!)

^ I'm so proud of you. *sniff, sniff* Hypnotize is excellent, one of their best, IMHO. Have you ever listened to any of their older stuff? Like right now Im listening to one of theirs called Deer Dance - quite good. Living Dead Girl is good, though I also like Demonoid Phenomenon...
