"Then what difference does it make? The wisest choice is to siege his other realm, packed with reinforcements that could easily take over other areas while we are away. I shall not risk it. No. I refuse to go to Mordor. If you will not agree to attacking Moria then we shall wait in Ered Luin until if, by chance, you need us. Your plan is ridiculous."

Lancir looked at darre "I would help morsereg against dwarves in a second and why should i attack from the south I can get into Mordor with no problems what so ever using the Mordor Road i own the eastern guard alcorad trust me lets use the mordor road" Lancir then looked at aragorn "I can be in mordor in a matter of hours and why do we Alllign ourselves with one that his known not to keep his mouth shut" He then looked to morsereg "i will not fail you with the dirkhimlo(sp?) my Friend and i let you know right now i would slay a dwarve anyday alongside you"

"Well do I understand thy concern, Darre," Aragorn said quietly. "But the question, as far as I see it, is whether or not Murazor will come to Alcorad's aid. That problem, I think, is quite plain. Therefore, to look at this equation logically, to my mind we have two choices. We can either assume that he will attack us from the rear, and to that end divide our forces, sending thy troops to intercept Moria, or we can take the chance that he will not, but still maintain an effective defense in the event that he does, by placing forces from each realm in the position I have indicated. Completely do I understand thy skepticism, well-placed indeed, but if we can provide an effective defense should he attack, one that could be bolstered if need arise by the force at the Morannon, then I see no need to split our forces, a move which could prove potentially devastating."

"Then, Darre, you are truly blind." Morsereg let slip a loose growl before his eyes glanced to Lancir, "Our battle this day is not against the Dwarves, Lancir. We need their endurance in this battle."
"But, let me ask you all. Which of us has had the most dealings with both Alcorad and Murazor? Myself, I daresay. So then, which of us would know to which way their feeble minds bend?" He frowned as he paced a circle around the group. "Murazor has a strong legion of realms. He does not need Alcorad to stay alive. He will not try to back us away from Alcorad's realm by attacking one of our own, he will either sit out of this or he will come to Mordor's aid. Alcorad knows he has a realm to fall back on if he looses it, but his greed clouds him. He does not know sacrifice. He will try to aid himself more than he will try to strike at us, for he knows that with two realms fighting us off he has more strength than with one, he is not that blind."
He took a deep breath as he looked at the map, "Darre, if you see fit then strike at Moria. Just let it rest upon your heart that if we fail at the Morannon, and Alcorad is not destroyed, than mine and Aragorn's agreement is null and void," His eyes came to rest on those of the Dwarven King, "And you will be held responsible for Arwen's banishment."

"Either way, we are guessing!" Darre payed Lancir's worthless speech no need... Clearly the idiot was just a pawn... After all was done and Morsereg had what he wanted, Lancir would fall. "And do not threaten me with your sour words, Dindaedel. I am here to serve Elfstone and only him. In the end, I want Moria. When Alcorad falls, Aragorn, I wish that you aid me in my purge against the Goblins in The Mines. For your help in this, I shall lend you my aid at the Morannon."

Aragorn laughed as might a little child when Darre called Morsereg's words sour, pointing at Dindaedel with a giggle. But then he ceased suddenly, and sarcastically glared at Morsereg, then smiled upon Darre. "So the think skull allows thought in at last," he chuckled, clapping Darre upon the back. "Gladdened is my heart to know that I shall have Dwarves fighting at my side, and not dim ... lookies or whatever Morsereg has spawned this time. For the aid of Ered Luin in this endeavour, Gondor shall surely repay in kind and assist in the retaking of thy anceatral home. Are our plans decided, then? If so, then I suggest we move at once!"

"So it is decided, then? We follow Aragorn's design?" Morsereg nodded, "I shall see you all on the battlefield. Ashuron, I believe it is time that we depart and make for the Morgul Pass."

"Very well then. Assembled Lords and Kings, I must take leave of this council and send a letter to Lorien at once with one of my scouts to mobilize my army. I shall see all of you again at the Black Lands." Ashuron bowed quickly and moved outside of the war council.

Morsereg watched as Ashuron departed. "I too must take my leave. My generals must know of the proceedings." He bowed graciously, his hair sweeping the floor. "By the time we meet again, Alcorad shall no longer exist," He smirked sourly before turning on his heels and walking out of the room to mobilize his army and prepare for the battle.

As the others took their leave, the Dwarf-King also gathered himself. Furrling back up the old map-parchment and placing it inside his carrier pack. "I hope you know what you are doing..." Darre gave Aragorn a stern look. "And I ask for a transport. Something small and agile. My traveling party and I need to get back as soon as possable, and only the fasted vessel will accomplish what we need it to... I shall go down to the harbours and see for myself which ship is Dwarf-worthy." The King chuckled. "Look for us on the bleak plains of Mordor at dusk on the fourth day of my departure here."

Aragorn smiled in return, for he knew that few enough of the boats the world could offer would make a Dwarf feel at home. But as the smile dwindled, was it sorrow with which the tips of it were tinged? Darre could not decide, but then he had his answer as Aragorn walked with him to the doors. "I would say that indeed all too well do I know what I am doing. Thou hast no idea how this pains me, friend - but I see little other course." He sighed. "Never doubt that I have abundant relief by thine aid - not merely for the added axes and spears, but because in joining our cause thou hast soothed my mind to some degree. Of all the powers of evil in this Middle-earth, none is more known to me than that Dindaedel, for he and I have been the bitterest foes since long before thou and I were known to each other. And ever have I stopped him at every turn, ever have I upended his plans. And now I must aid him, and this he knows, and perhaps even more delicious to him than his now-assured vistory o'er his brother is that he is fully aware that he has won this personal war with me, and has caused and is causing me greater pain than any before him ever have." He sighed again. "Gondor will march in the evening, and we shall array the assault. We shall begin it, and upon thy arrival, slam into the press at full tilt. We shall meet amidst the battle, and we shall see the blood run upon our blades, and we shall smile, and we shall be glad. Farewell!"
And Aragorn stood upright at attention before Darre, and proudly saluted the Dwarven King. He gave instructions that the best and swiftest boat of the Harlond should be given to the Dwarf, and then returned into the Citadel. He had plans to devise.

Valdrik had made good speed in his journey to Gondor, leaving his citadel only moments after the Gondorian messenger had. He had no trouble finding his way through the grand city, as this was by no means the first time he had visited. After stabling his steed he made his way alone up the stone steps that led to the legendary Citadel. As he neared the door a pair of guards crossed their spears to bar his entrance. Before they could speak he drew back his tattered cloak to reveal his more kingly garmets. "I believe I am expected here, good men. Take me now to Aragorn."
