"Well either your insane or word has already travelled to Khand that I've taken up lordship of Rhun. I should wonder though, why do you seek to escape evil? It seems that you rather like the thought of burning fair elven cities and destroying the homes of innocents. If you didn't I wouldn't be here. Perhaps you know the stories of what transpired within your lands and beyond them, perhaps not. I really do not care. What I would like to know is why you think you can just leave what you've done behind and take refuge here. I'm sure that Rhun's inhabitants shall welcome you, Lord of Easterlings, but I shall not. It is here that many seek refuge from the likes of you and I don't think that they would like it if they knew that you had come into their borders." Doren's curiosity had quickly turned to rage and now he stood in the square of the city yelling at this highly respected man. The Easterlings turned with wonder and doubt in their eyes. Their new lord, they were not very fond of and they had heard rumors of Kalas. They knew him to be the Prince of Khand.
Doren paused staring at the people around them. As they returned to their daily business he turned a weary eye back to Kalas and saw that he too was somewhat weary. Doren sat back down against the fountain and sighed, deciding that if there was a time for this man to be arrested it would come later and further questioning would be needed to continue. "May I ask why you want to get away from the common evils of this world?"

Doren looked into the waters of the fountain and reflected on the death of his father and brother. He knew that the forces of evil could destroy that wich you love even if that wich you love is your worst enemy. Doren did not know of Kalas was telling the truth in the matter. Obviously if his father was Lancir then he was prince of Khand. Whether to beleive this man or not was the problem. Though the tears that had fallen seemed real enough, fell sorceries such as that had been used before for deceptions engraved in the history of Arnor. The deception against the elves of Eregion was a story that Doren knew well. His mother had often told him it so that he would always be cautious and remain safe. "Kalas I know not whether I should trust you or not. Your deeds against the land of Rivendelll were unforgivalbe. If you truly are against the ways your father then you should leave all ties with him. You shall stay here among your kin but I cannot protect you from him if you wish to hide. You must face him yourself and make amends with the people of the North. Now many reside here aswell as in Mirkwood. That is where you should go."

Doren nodded gravely and returned his gaze to the waters of the fountain. "If you truly wish to repent for your deeds you need to seek alliance with the elves of Rivendell and Mirkwood. They are the ones who deserve it most."

"And what realm would be allied with Rivendell, we seemed cursed , everywhere we go , something dark follows us , evil is alwayts at work , i doubt we will be in Mirkwood for much longer " he said turning round , and looking at Doren, his arms were behind him resting on the banister.

(are we on a balcony?lol)
"Dark words, my friend. It is true that Mirkwood has never truly been a haven as Lothlorien and Rivendell have but it has always been a home. The evils roaming this land have no great desighn to them. They are all blood thirsty warlords who wish to execute their will upon all. I do not beleive that good and evil are so different anymore. In fact I beleive they are one in the same."
Doren reflected quietly on geography of Middle Earth. During his time alone he often spent time in his study learning of the Dark Arts of Middle Earth. He had done so ever since Noredred reported his encounter with the Ghoslty Barrow Wight. Dark spirits that take host in the bones of the Kings though one who slays them with mere sword would only learn that they peice themself back together into a whole once more with the use of Fell Sorcery. The weaknesses of Barrow Wights had become somewhat well known in the courts of Arnor and Gondor. The Westerness of the blades of Numenor is all that can best them for it was the men who carried them that threw down Carn Dum and so their last heirlooms were all that could truly kill the Wights.
The magics of Tom Bombadil were also ones that effected many evils of Middle Earth, but the evils caused by the scum of Angmar most of all. Though Tom was not on any particular side in the affairs of Darkness and Light he had had his own trouble with the spectres of Angmar and the Barrow Downs that are so close to his home. He and Goldberry, the Riverdaughter had composed songs that make those dark creatures vulnerable to blade. Songs that destroy the concept of immortality. These songs also had the same effect on other spirits of Darkness created by the Witch King such as Revenants and Duskwraiths. Creatures that were once feared throughout the world. They are now only remembered by some. Those who seek them find them.
The Arnorien King had also dabbled further into the desighns of evil. In works composed by those who witnessed them firsthand and were also curious as to how they came to be. With the books of Sorcerers and Mages that were found throughout Middle Earth, man has taken a more clear understanding of the Darkness. It is something that should never be understood.

"I never said to you that the free peoples were as low as the scum of Morgoth. They have been turned to darkness though nonetheless. I cannot trust anyone anymore. It seems as if every leader with stern heart has taken it upon himself to right all wrongs when many are only misunderstandings." Doren shook his head remembering days of old. Days after the War of the Ring and after the return of Sauron and council of Imladris. Days before darkness had a name and when only freedom was on anyone's mind.

( close neough lol)
"Oh , but who to trust , well thats an intresting question , you have the hordes of Angmar , who kill without mercy and its leader beggs for help everytime he lose'es something he seems as though he cannot do anything alone, the darkness of the mountains that no one knows not about , then theres Enedwraith , dark tales have been told of her Queen'es , shall we say , hospitality , and then theres Mordor, where the shadows lie , im lost for words about that dark place no tales have been told at all , now , trusting me will get you in trouble , it got my people into trouble , and dare i say , it has Gotten the king of Gondor in trouble " he said , he knew what he meant about the king of Gondor.

(Murazor that was one sentence... lol)
"Mordor is a most curious factor in the events of Middle Earth. I beleive that though it is silent and Sauron has departed it aswell as his creations, we have more to see from the within the mountain walls. Mordor personifies Orodruin. Now it is dormant. It could erupt at any given moment. Passive or straight forward, the evil issued from Mordor will make some drastic change in the chain of events of late."
