"Yeh, the markets in these towns seem to go all night long. Its sort of a nice change from that of the towns in Gondor. Its easy to disappear in a town like this." They continued slowly walking down the street untill they came across a troupe of entertainers in full costumes putting on a skit in the middle of the street. A crowd had begun to gather around and watch and so he stopped to see the performance, which seemed to be a comedy of sorts and got quite a few laughs from the crowd. He glanced down to Idrial as the performance went on, "You know, this is not such a bad town. Maybe we shouldn't be in such a rush to leave.... I mean, I have no where of particular importance to go." He thought about things for a moment and the plans he had for chasing after Marcus and Curtus seemed like they could wait.

Idrial glanced up at him as he spoke, considering his words in her mind. Did that mean they would wait here for the rest of the group to catch up? "I do rather like this place..." Her face fell slightly as she thought of Gondor, and how much she longed to return, if even for a short time. But for now, that longing was but a dream. She knew she could not go back. Not yet. Hesitantly, she reached for Vilik's hand, lacing her fingers with his as she tried to focus on the skit before them. Well, at least this town was not dull.

He gave her a warm smile as she took his hand and turned back to the performers. When the troupe finished their skit he gave an applause and like the other onlookers tossed a coin onto the street before them. Soon the crowd started to disperse and even the bustling market place seemed to be slowing down a little. He slipped his arm around her waist and walked along further down the street. They came to a common area with bushes and benches situated around a flowing fountain in the middle of it. He turned to Idrial as they came before the fountain, "Seems we wandered off alone again, you really should be more carefull." He grinned and leaned forward to kiss her again, a little slower and less hesitant this time.

Idrial rested her hands lightly against his chest as he drew her near to kiss her again. When he pulled away she glanced toward the fountain. It was such an odd item of decor for the Harad desert, but likely that was what made it beautiful. She looked back up at him with a raised brow as she recalled his statement. "And why is that? Am I in danger being alone in your company?" She caught scent of the flower behind her ear as a gentle breeze blew through, and she inhaled deeply.

Vilik smiled, "You could be, I am a criminal after, no telling what I might steal." He smirked and pulled her close again for another kiss, running his hand through the strands of her hair as he did so. He took her hands and led her to one of the benches and sat down. He watched the water flow from the fountain and commented, "You know, I've been to this town several times, unloading goods we'd pillaged from merchant ships. This is the first time I ever took the time to see the place." He glanced over to her, "Have you done much traveling in Middle Earth? Or is this one of your first times away from Gondor?"

Idrial breath caught in her throat as he kissed her once more. Her eyes searched his as he once more pulled away, and she thought about his comment and a night some time ago in Gondor when her family had been killed and something very precious had been stolen from her. No! She would not dampen her spirits with thoughts of the past...not now. Idrial seated herself on the bench beside him, her brown eyes watching the waters of the fountain as the gurgled about. "I have done quite a bit of traveling...but most of it has not been far out of the boundaries of Gondor. I have never been here." She motioned about them with a wave of her hand. She lightly leaned her slender form against him, hesitantly at first, but then she relaxed. It was such a peaceful scene that she could harbor no tenseness for long.

Vilik lifted his arm as she leaned against him, wrapping it behind her and resting it on her shoulder. He was silent for while, taking in the sight of the fountain in the moonlight and enjoying the moment as he sat there with Idrial. He turned his head towards her after a moment, "We'll have to make plans of where to go once we leave this town. Have any suggestions? Anywhere in particular you fancy going?"

Idrial glanced up as well when the silence was broken. Where did she want to go? "I...I'm not exactly sure. As I said, I have not been many places, and wouldn't even know where to begin." She shrugged and fell silent once more, becoming nearly hypnotized by the falling water. "Anywhere..." she finally said with a sigh, pulling her feet up onto the bench next to her.

Vilik raised his hand from her shoulder and gently ran his fingers throuh her hair as he listened to her. "Anywhere, that sounds simple enough." The night was getting late and the air cold. He smiled to Idrial then stood up, offering her a hand once again. "Its getting late, we should be heading back to the inn now I suppose."

Idrial felt his fingers as they combed through her hair, and she glanced toward him, listening to his words. She took his offered hand, lacing their fingers together as she stood up and looked in the direction they were to go. "You're probably right. Sleep has been one thing I have needed lately." She gave one parting glance to the fountain. "Lead the way." She finally said to Vilik.

Vilik led her back down the now quiet street, holding her close as they walked. The night was late indeed, later even than Vilik had thought. The Tavern had closed for the night and he had to knock against the window to get the inn keeper's attention. The wind howled through the streets and Vilik wrapped his arms around Idrial from behind in a loose embrace as they waited for the keeper to unlock the door.

Idrial leaned back against him, glad that his form was there to block out the chill of the night as the wind picked up. Finally, a drowsy innkeeper came to the door. He peered out at first, but finally recognized them and opened the door wide. "You crazy people." He said groggily. "Always out so late." He locked the door behind them and disappeared into the darkness. Somewhere inside a door shut, signaling the innkeeper had gone back to bed. Idrial glanced up at Vilik and laughed softly. "I don't think he was too happy to be awakened. Shame on you for keeping us out so late."

Vilik smiled and laughed at the inn keepers comments, following Idrial inside and out of the chilly night. He shot a glance to Idrial as she made her comment, "ME?! You were the one so insistant on seeing the sights." They climbed the steps to the second floor and made their way to the room. Vilik took the key from his pockey and reached between Idrials waist and arm to unlook the latch, giving her a quick peck on the check as he twisted the key. "Welcome home," he joked as he pushed the door open for her.

Idrial laughed as the entered the room, glancing back at him with a raised brow. "Are you alright?" She asked with another laugh, as she removed her cloak and placed it atop the table. The maiden poured herself a glass of water and sipped from it, before placing it down carefully upon the tray. It seemed that no one had gotten around to cleaning their room while they were gone...if they even did that here. "You never did show me your boat." She said casually as she returned to her cloak and began to fold it.

Vilik smirked, "I'm quite alright. And as for the boat... I got a little side tracked at the dock. My appologies for that." He shot her a wink as he looked up from taking his boots off. "Maybe I'll get around to showing the boat tomorrow. That is if the idea of sailing off with me still holds your intrest after a good night's sleep."
