Idrial lifted her head from his shoulder so that she could see him. "Oh, is that so?" She laughed. "I knew you'd admit to it sooner or later." She let him pull her tightly against him, blocking out the breeze that blew across the deck. She rested her knees against his leg as she curled up slightly and nestled against him.

Vilik smiled, "Yeh, so I admit it, though you couldn't deny that you're happy with the situation either. Not with a straight face anyhow." He shivered a little as the wind picked up more and he pulled some of her extra blanket to cover his legs. "Apparently it is going to be a cold night. We'll have to find some means to keep warm."

Idrial laughed at he pulled a bit of her blanket over himself, glancing up at him as he spoke the last comment. "Hmm?" She asked. "Oh, I don't know...I'm not sure I find it that cold," she said with a joking grin as another breeze blew across the deck. "Ok, maybe it is a little chilly." The maiden fitted herself snuggly against him once more now that the blanket had been readjusted.

"Hmm, thats a little better." He remarked as she repositioned herself. The warmth of her body along with the blanket more that compensated for the cold gusts of wind that blew by now and then. He moved the hand on her shoulder slowly up, tracing her neck the her jaw untill he tilted her face towards him. His other hand slid along her leg and rested on her thigh as he leaned down to kiss her.

Idrial felt his every touch against her skin as his hand moved up her neck to tilt her face toward him, allowing their lips to meet. She reached out, placing her hands on each side of his face until the kiss ended. Then she rested them lightly against his chest. "Is that your remedy for the cold?" She asked with a smile.

"Unless you have a better idea..." He replied with a wink as his hands moved to her slender waste and then up her back. He embraced her, drawing her tight against his chest. He nuzzled against her neck, kissing below her ear softly and whispering, "I don't hear you complaining yet."

Idrial grinned at his last comment, letting him draw her ever closer. "I never said I was unhappy with the arrangements, did I?" She placed her hands on his shoulders before reaching up to trace a finger along his jawline. "No," she whispered, "I never said that at all."

"Well, of course you didn't say that." He gave a smug but sarcastic grin, "You are afterall alone on a boat with me...." He gave a short quiet laugh at his statement before kissing her again. After the kiss he shifted his positon to lean further back, resting his head on a sack and looking up at her as she layed on his chest.

Idrial found herself looking down at him, and she cocked her head to the side with an amused smirk upon her face. "Well, this is new." She said with a laugh. She pulled the banket up further about them as she rested herself against him. She reached out with her hand and lightly touched his face before moving her hand back to grasp the edge of the blanket.

"New is good, right?" Her face was silhouetted against the moon as he stared up at her, making it hard to distinguish her features. He reached up to pull her face to his. HIs lips met hers and as they began to kiss he let his hands slide down her back slowly. Some time passed and he didn't break the kiss off untill he felt few drops of rain fall against his cheek. He opened his eyes that had drifted closed as he'd been kissing her and saw the grey clouds now drifting across the moon. The next gust of wind brought the low rumble of distant thunder.

Idrial's eyes opened as well as he pulled away, and she glanced back over her shoulder, following his gaze to the clouds. She glanced back toward him as she heard the rumble of the thunder. "Oh, that can't be good..can it?" Her eyes held a bit of concern, but she said nothing more as she awaited his response.

Vilik looked up at the sky and sighed, but waited a moment before speaking. "Nothing to worry about, really..." He grabbed the blanket and pulled it up over her head and kissed her again, though it was cut short by a more ominous crack of thunder. He sat up reluctantly. "I suppose you'd better go below deck, I'll be there momentarily." He leaned forward and kissed her forehead as he stood and went to prepare the boat for the storm.

Idrial stood up as well, watching him for a brief moment as he walked off, before she followed his instruction and slipped down below deck. She went up to the small dresser and tapped her fingers on top of it, waiting. Her nerves were a bit frayed now as she heard the rain drumming against the roof. Certainly they would be alright though...this was a good boat. She walked around the room a couple of times before seating herself on the edge of the bed.

Vilik let down the sails and stowed them and dropped the boats two storm anchors. The rain soon picked up and came down hard on him, drenching him as he worked. The seas picked up a little, but not more than to boat could easily ride out. When the achors set he tied them off and headed below deck. Rain poured in when he opened the hatch, but he quickly shut and locked it, sealing them in against the weather. He walked through the galley and into the bedroom where he found Idrial sitting with a worried look on the edge of the bed. He gave her a reassuring smile, "I've weathered far worse storms on vessles much less fit than this one. We've nothing to worry about." He kicked off his water logged boots and shivered a bit in his soaked clothes.

Idrial looked up with a smile as Vilik walked in, glad he was alright and reassured by his words. It was as he kicked off his boots that she noticed how drenched he was. Walking over to the dresser, she pulled out a drawer and removed a fresh pair of clothes. "Luckily for you, the person who owned this boat keeps it well stocked." She paused with a laugh. "I'll go out while you change." She said as she headed toward the door.
