{Don't actually start the fight 'til we get done - we may get off without one if she gives us Rohan...}

OOC: What do you mean "get off without one?" We could easily over-run her. More likely she's the one who would benefit from not losing Isenguard.
Ash whipped out his sword and chopped through a pile of stray twigs on the ground. "Well, we're either fighting or we're not, which is it?" he said to no-one.

{True, but I meant we'd all keep our full army counts.}
A messenger from the Spire of Orthanc made his way across the expanse from the tower to the gates, and passing through them he first espied Lord Ashuron, and strode up to him. He spoke thusly to him, in broken Common Tongue:
"My lowd, the 'Igh King 'as 'ad tawk wif de Lady Meglowen, and dey 'ave arroived at a decision. She 'as given to 'im Rohan and swown allegants to 'is kingship. 'E sez to teaw yew dat she repenz of 'er eviwl, and dat dere is to be a big counciwl in Meenus Tiirith to talk of dis, for it may be e'en dat Dindaydewl is a liar. 'E sez to wait 'ere for 'im - 'e will not be lowng."
The messenger seemed to have tired himself by such long discourse, and turned at once to return to the Tower.
{That's supposed to be a cockney accent, BTW. Say it aloud in Cockney - it works.}

"Envinyatar, you're too soft to be a solider. What was it, the begging, the pleading, or the promise to be good. You cannot decided for all of us, but for now I shall honor your decision. I'm sorry, Arken," Ashuron said to the empty area around him as he waited for the High King to come down from the tower.

Upon hearing this news, Lord Garland and his assembled troops left the field and rode North to Moria.

"Not to your pleasure, Ashuron." Megloren's voice boomed throughout Orthanc as she and Aragorn made their way down the steps.
*take note that we arent there yet, we have to wait for Aragorn, so dont start talking to us*

Aragorn led the way for he and Megloren to walk, and hearing the words of Ashuron he smiled.
"Too soft to be a soldier I may be. But soft enough to see when the lives of men may be spared. Though I know not the pain of a departed child ere his time, I know that peace is desirable above war, and should e'er come a chance to take it, then it will be taken.
Come, my friends. We shall go to Minas Tirith. There we shall hold a council and bring all hurts and grievances to the light."

"Very well, I shall come to this council and listen to what this witch has to say, but never will she have my trust throughout my life, which being an elf, will take a long time to end."

"You take over someones mind and everyone lables you as public enemy number one." She sighed and nodded. "Alright. Let us go to Minas Tirith."

Doren sighed and looked to the sky towards Rohan. He summoned a scout and gave him instructions to call a retreat back to Arnor from Helm's Deep. The scout nodded and began the ride towards the hornburg.
The life of a leader was often complicated and full of regret and of a need to know what could have been done. At the moment Doren was only happy to have saved his people's lives so that they may return to their family. Now the hope was that the scout would arrive at Helm's Deep before it was to late.
"This battle was supposed to be our glorious victory and yet now we give way to a more dangerous threat. A mine, such as that of Isengard, that should have destroyed a wall but was delayed is ever more dangerous than that wich has executed the attack for all to see. Though Megloren may not have as many allies as in days past, she now has the power to learn of our defences and take us when we are least likely to realize her intents. If she is so dark that she killed the king of Rohan, then she may do the same to Aragorn. Her influence seems to be spreading."
Doren sighed as he watched the retreat of Arnor's forces and began to ride towards Minas Tirith for the second time. Evil had been spared to live another day and although it's legs have been cut from it's body it still has it's teeth.

"It's nice to know that someone shares my views on the subject," Ashuron said. "I'm not sending my army home until we leader depart for Minas Tirith, that's for sure."

"You all flatter me, truely. If I can just take control over whoever I wish, why havent I done it already?Why wouldnt I have done it to Aragorn a long time ago? It is because I cant. I have limited power just like the lot of you, and I am in no position to go attacking anyone. I resent what I have done, and now I am siding with you. Perhaps you should start questioning Morsereg's true reasons for his alliance. He has betrayed me... What makes you think he is being true? None of you can answer that."

"Don't say 'none of you can answer that,' because we all can. It's clear that Morsereg and Ilmare, you're supposed allies, hated you as much as we do and wanted you gone the same amount. And personally, I have yet to see any proof that you have really switched sides apart from Aragorn's word about what happened in the tower. Now don't think the wrong thing about me, I would trust Aragorn until he gave me reason not to, which he hasn't, but there is a chance that you put him under some spell of yours while in the tower. What do you say to this?"

Ilmare and Alucard arrived on foaming horses before Orthanc. They saw that the hosts prepared to retreat as well. Ilmare dismounted her horse and went to the other realm Ruler, who were assembled in front of the stairs before they mounted their horses to leave. They got informed, that there would be a Council in Minas Tirith and they all were supposed to attend. Ilmare noded to that and said: "Very well. We will meet my host on our way to Gondor. I decide on the way if I send them back to Enedwaith or let them take camp." She looked at Megloren. "My decision may be depending on what I learn from you and your intentions."
(okay, concidering that it takes a while to pull back armies of that strenght and that we rode immediatly after the messenger arrived Doren. We arrive shortly before you guys take off. Hope thats cool.)

"No Ashuron. They betrayed me because they knew we would fail, and they wanted to clear themselves so they would appear innocent. Dont be thick." She glared at Ilmare. "No you will take them back now. If you hate me as much as Ive heard, then there is no way I think you will listen to my explainations, nor will I dare leave my realm unguarded." She then turned to Aragorn for a sign of support. "You must understand, but I am finding it hard to leave Angrenost unprotected and under the close watch of someone who betrayed me. How do I know that once I leave Angmar and Enedwaith will attack Angrenost? I dont. Ive made that mistake before in trusting her, and I will not make it again."
