Legolas looked up in surprise at Aragorn, watching the two creatures speed off.
"Those are... What are they my friend? Have they caused you some type of trouble?"

Aragorn sighed as he rose wearily from his crouch, with his eyes tearing from the explosion of orbs. He glanced about, and quickly espied the paper, still lying upon the pavement, though rather crinkled and crushed. He speared it with Anduril, and walked over to Legolas.
"A yokoing brigand," said he to his comrade, patting his arm. "Of Haradric descent, unless my eyes cheat me; I have been far abroad to places where the stars are strange. Some irreputable ally of the dark doings afoot in the South which have reached my ears, I fear. We shall see. His mission, as far as I can read it, has failed with his loss of this parchment, but my heart is troubled nonetheless. Thou shalt forgive me, good my friend, I am sure, but I must adjourn to the Citadel. Fare thee well!"
So saying, Aragorn strode away at a surprising speed for one so lately forfoughten, and in goodly time attained the palace, making straight for his private chambers where he hoped against hope that Arwen might be, that he might discover the truth of this matter. Would that it would not be as his eyes told him!

Legolas watched Aragorn stride off towards the Citadel. 'Twas strange indeed. He had never known the lord of the City to act as such, as though weighed down by grievous tidings. For as far as Legolas could see, the mission of their enemy, if enemy it was, had failed and what was lost had been recovered. Something still clung to the Lord of Gondor though, and Legolas doubted that he would not here of some consequence of the night's events before the end of tomorrow.

A time later...
Vaire rode, taking the road through Rohan, up to the great Gate of Minas Tirith. Once she could see the walls of the white city she took her cloak tighter and draw her hood deep into her face. And when she came closer she took a sip from her first little bottle.

Her face changed again, but this time quicker and easier. And as she came to the great gate, its shape had finished completely to Arwens.

Aragorn had taken a walk about the White City with his beloved, and she had left him to his walk that she might go and instruct several young girls in fine embroidery. So he decided to walk upon the walls and about the gates, thereby to speak with the men and enhearten them. He clomb onto the parapets above the great gates, and cast his eyes far across the fair Pelennor, and behold! There some little distance away he saw astride a tall horse his own wife Arwen. He started in surprise, for he knew for a fact that she was far above him in the Citadel. He stared, dumbfounded at this turn of events, and then his brows furrowed, for he thought that mayhap now again there would be explanations forthcoming of the events lately seen with the brigand Yoko and the theft of his parchment. Could this below be Vaire, in some devilish guise of Arwen? He began to descend and confront this apparition, but taking a last glance he was astonished at what next he saw.

Vaire saw from the corner of her eye the King looking down to her. She drank from the second potion and changed nearly immediatly. But this time not only her face or her haircolour. She felt major changes in her complete body and fell nearly from her horse. The whole muscular and bone structure weakened in once and grew hard in the next moment and left her in the shape and habit of ... Lord Murazor Bauglir of Rivendell. Vaire didn't noticed it, but all other surround her recognized the face of the Lord, since he was often aproached in the white city. Vaire realized the attention she draw, jumped from her horse and run into the crowd of people behind the gate.
(sorry, Muraz has no Avi *lol*)

Aragorn's entire frame tensed, and his breath caught. Murazor, the bastard! He who had so lately entered his Citadel with overtures of peace and allegiance! It was he who had been thieving that paper from Aragorn's desk, in guise of Vaire which he easily changed into guise of Arwen with the aid of whatever potion was in that little vial. Then forsooth it was he that had assailed Mithlond in arms! Curses be upon him, thought Aragorn as he leapt down the stairs, taking them five at a time. He spied Murazor's back, slipping away in the crowd, and pursued him with haste, but passing about a corner where he was certain the Elflord ran, he saw no one there but a bedraggled old woman in a tattered cloak.
He stopped short. Little ever had it been that Strider the Ranger had been baffled, but now he was at a loss. Naught was there to be done save adjourn to his Citadel, which he did with haste, that he might make all haste to rid himself of Rivendell.

Vaire stood surround the corner and watched Aragorn stopping. His searching gaze went over her, but she had drunken the last potion and changed and nobody would recognize her as Vaire. She saw the High King leaving and relaxed, than she went to the gate to wait outside of Minas Tirith for her last change and pickup her horse.
