Katherin nodded slowly, somewhat understanding what he was talking about. "Lady Ilmare? I heard she was killed some time back by the king of Gondor. Is that why you're here?" She asked hesitantly. He grinned. "Yes, he slaughtered her in front of the houses of healing. And yes, I am stuck since that time in Minas Tirith." He scanned the area. "Well, seems I have to thank you. I am not stucking anymore."

Katherin rolled her eyes at his statement, but folded her arms, watching him carefully. Even though he did not present a threat to her at the moment, she still did not trust him. "Oh, don't mention it." She said with a twinge of sarcasm as she too glanced out across the terrain. She hoped she wouldn't get caught up in the middle of all this now. With her luck though, she would.

Dorlas raised an eyebrow. "Not mention what?" he laughed and let the horses go a little bit faster. "For some reason you decided to stay - would you tell me your name? It looks like we would travel a little bit together? Why is it, that you decided to come with me?" He throw a look over to her. "Your feeling still comfortable there, or do you want to come over?" He pointed on the seat besides him.

Katherin grabbed onto the edge of the barrel as the cart lurched forward. "I...I wasn't going to come," she said, glancing back over her shoulder, "but now it appears I have little choice. Anyway, my name is Katherin." She tightened her grip on the barrel as he motioned toward the seat. "No thank you, I'm fine here."

"Skiddy like a cat." he laughed and turned towards the road. "You had your chance, Katherin. Heyaaah!" he drove the horses on. They cocked their heads and fell into a quicker pass. A time of silence went by and he turned back to Katherin. "And where do you come from?"

Katherin nearly fell from the barrel as the horses moved on to an even faster gait, but she recovered quickly and did not give the incident away by her expressions. She glanced up as he spoke to her. "Me? I'm from Gondor...right here. Though I have done quite a bit of traveling, Gondor has pretty much always been my home."

"Sounds like me. I have traveled a lot, but once your born in Enedwaith, you are bound to it forever." He grinned to Katherin. "You didn't even ask where we are going. What's up with you, that you were allone in the pub and have no homesickness, but to come with a scoundrel like me to a not known place?"

Katherin shrugged casually, leaning back on the barrel and supporting herself with her arms. "I guess I don't really care. I'm just a wanderer, going wherever and whenever depending on what idea springs into my mind." She pulled her dark hair back over her shoulders, glancing off to the side as she thought she heard a noise. It turned out to be, however, a mere rustling of the grass.

He shoke his head. "You are a pretty strange woman. I know now one, who would stay after beeing abducted and dragged through the whole city, not to mention that I know anybody who wouldn't care where she is heading to. Well, to your information, I am going back to Enedwaith and try to make up with the new Realm Ruler. I can drop you off once we arrive the shore."

Katherin smirked at his words, containing her laughter at what he said. It was true...she apparantly was strange for having been curious enough to stick around. At his last suggestion, she nodded her head. "Sure, that would be fine." Yes, she could be dropped off at the coast, then she could wander about there until she decided where she would want to go next. Not that it really mattered, anyway.

Dorlas was surprised and shoke his head, not right sure what to say. He made himself comfortable on the seat and hummed silently. He looked at the way in front of him and the backs of the horses and watched the sun setting, almost ignoring that Katherin was sitting in the back of the cart.

Katherin rode along in silence, not quite sure why she didn't just hop off the cart and head back to the White City. Well, maybe it was because she wasn't exactly sure if that was where she wanted to head at the moment. Maybe it was time for some more traveling. It was in the midst of these thoughts that the cart rolled over a large rut in the road, and she nearly fell from her place on the barrel. "Hey! Careful up there!" Katherin hollered above the racket of the wheels.

Dorlas turned around as if he just recalled to have a passanger in his back. "I told you to come forth, but you decided to sit on your barrel. Its quite a way to the shore, you better search for a more comfortable place to sit," he said with a laughter.

Katherin sighed and gave a brief nod before sliding off the barrel and climbing up into the front seat. "Alright, that's a bit better." She folded her arms, leaning back slightly against the back of the bench as she looked off into the darkness of the evening. "I still don't quite understand what you were doing in Gondor." She stated simply.

Dorlas grinned bitterly. "I was set as the steward of Imladris and Adornay of Angrenost in Ilmares name. We went to Aragorn for an aproval of the rulership and an apology because of a personal vendetta of Ilmare. I don't know how and why he killed her, on the street before the houses of healing. I wasn't there, because he was in grieve about the attack against Arwen and Ilmare didn't wanted to bother him with political business. But since her dead, the Guardians are searching for me and Adornay. He made it out of the town, I didn't."
