"We were sent to monitor Lord Garland for a time so that we may know that trust may be had. The enemy surrounds our land and if Moria really is no longer a threat then we may be glad. Some things are not merely given without a cost. There was no battle to retake Moria from the goblins and the sentries below the mountains have said as much. Thus far Lord Garland has proved noble and honorable but our stay is required still and Arnor still must keep watch on Moria. When the location of the true goblin hoard becomes known then we will surely give our trust to Lord Garland."

Arwen listened to his speach and looked at Lord Garland. "I hope this does not offend you, good friend. It has been many treachoury in the past and sometimes it is hard to change old habbits." She looked at the Dunedain. "So it seems no need for choosing harsh words, even carefullness isn't of harm. Did any of the other neighboring realms threaten Arnor directly yet?"

The door opened and Lady Ilmare walked into the hall. She bowed before King and Queen and throw a curious glance to Lord Garland and the Dunedain. Lady Arwens eyes widened as she recognized the Lady of Enedwaith, for Ilmare was raised not far from Rivendell and Arwen knew her since Ilmare was a child. The Lady of Enedwaith smiled but remained silent, not to interrupt the discussion of the Dunedain.

Arwen tried not to stare at Ilmare and pretended a smile when she greeted her. She knew Ilmare, all what she was and what she did and was surprised to find her in the Citadel of Guard right before the throne of Gondor. "Lady Ilmare, welcome to Minas Tirith. To speak of direct thread..." She turned her view to the Dunedain. "Does Enedwaith threaten you?"

"The Wild Men have always been on our borders and we have always have had tention between us you understand. If anything we are not friends. My lord does not share all details with us but soon I beleive things will become clear. Do not misunderstand, Garland has thus far been honorable but we only recently begun our travels.
The Dunedain watched the lady Ilmare enter and were somewhat taken back. Her beauty was almost unreal and her smile seemingly hypnotic. Without thinking the Dunedain bowed to Ilmare and smiled.
Torogrin the younger of the two stepped forward and kissed Ilmare's hand. "Such beauty is rarely seen."
(take note this is before doren got back from angmar so nothing is really serious as of now. just cautious.)

(Morseys confession, gah! He better had kept his mouth close. LOL Anyway, good to know its not known yet, thanks!)
Ilmare smiled at Torogrin and looked crafty at Arwen. The both womens eyes met each other in a little combat and than Arwen smiled also. "Thank you my friend," said Ilmare and turned her gaze to the Dunedain. "No, we don't treaten you, do we? Actually I am here..." she laughed at Arwens sternly glance "... not to offer our alliance. No, I don't go so far to offer you something like that. But the request of a peace contract between Gondor and Enedwaith. I am no conqueror and I don't want to strike against my neighbors. I just want to rule in peace my realm and not getting involved in any war mangerings, from no side."

Torogrin stepped toward the King only to be pulled back by Halledred, the other of the two Dunedain. "A noble request! I am sure that Lord Doren will be eager to learn such news."

Arwen looked suspecious at Ilmare, nodded and said quietly and carefully: "It sounds indeed like a noble request." Arwen raised from her chair and came towards Ilmare, mumbling something only the Lady of Enedwaith understood and tempted her to burst out in a quick laughter. Soon Ilmare had herself controle again and directed a short quiet question to the Queen of Gondor. Arwen nodded slightly and looked to her husband, awaiting his response.

The High King sat silent during much of these discussions, his sharp eyes darting to and fro among the people within his hall. A silence for a moment fell as words were searched out, and in that moment Aragorn spoke.
"Kinsmen from the North, though I myself am nearly fully assured of the trustworthiness of Lord Garland, I am able to comprehend thy position perfectly. However, still thou have yet to relate unto me just why thou art here. Not that thou are unwelcome - I simply would know what is't thou would have of me. Garland, be confident that thou have the full alliance of Gondor, a powerful friend and a ruthless foe, and continue upon the path of goodness which I see set for thee, and thou shalt win the trust of the North-Kingdoms as well.
Lady Ilmare. Honoured are we by thy presence in the White City, and inquisitive of thy offer are we. For peace thou would sue, yet open war between our realms there is not. Think you that it will come from other direction than the west, and think you to free thyself from entanglement? Or require thee aid? Hard doth I see it to believe thee that true peace without mongered war or conquerous wish thou desire."

Ilmare bowed with a smile before the High King and said: "Enedwaith wants just to seal, that its not agressive against her neigbours of any kind. We just want our own peace and freedom within our boarders. No foreign troups passing Enedwaith, nor base takings. Thats all we desire my Lord Envinyatar." Arwen still looked sternly at Ilmare and the both womens eyes met silently. Ilmare said nothing, but smiled friendly.

"Then if that is all to which Gondor must agree, she will comply with thy request. But my quiet realm would not assail thee without cause, thou need have no fear of that e'en without promises. But keep thy realm to itself, and Gondor shall mind her business. Thou art then free to go. Good-day."

Ilmare bowed and took her leave, followed by the sterning gaze of Arwen. She sighed and returned to her place.
