Doren ducked low and rolled around the elven lord rapidly. As he stood the backlash of the swing caught his thigh and it once more produced milky red blood just as it did in the battle with Legolas. Doren winced in pain, but had no less surety and determination than before. The blade was heavy and another swing would take a bit more time than his own. Doren swung his blade directly down towards Ashuron's back with subtle confidence.

Ilius' swing left a slash on Ashuron's back, above the one that he had gotten earlier in the battle. Nevertheless, Ash swung his own blade once again at Ilius, quicker than perhaps one might have suspected. "I've merged power with the speed of the Elves in battle. I truly have the greatest fighting style ever created," he said.

Doren lept to the side and felt the blade's powerful strike, contact his gut with blinding force. Doren was flung to the ground and gripped his side in pain. He stood and looked to his Mithril mail. It had saved him from a deep wound but the pain of the impact alone was unbearable. Doren staggered to the side and took the blowgun in his hand. He shot the poison dart towards Ashuron. The dart would provide him with a level footing from Ashuron. He could defeat the elf if the toxin made its way into the elf lord, he knew it.

The dart struck into Ashuron's left hand. During its flight, the Elf had noticed what appeared to be a slight wetness on the dart. Poison. He knew that he would not have long to finish this, a normal person would probably fall quickly to the poison, but added the purity of the elves and the fact that Ashuron wasn't normal when it came to combat, he would have a little more time. He slipped into a frenzy, slicing several times with his huge sword at Ilius.

Ilius leapt again and again evading the large sword and instead sheathed his weapons and took out his bow aswell as an arrow. He jumped back through the air and planted his feet firmly on the ground and notched an arrow in his bow. He fired it with the percision and skill of the Dunedain that rivaled that of the elves'. Then he notched another.

The two arrows hit Ashuron, but he was too far into his battle fury now to even notice. He continued to slash again and again at Ilius, and then brought his sword back and rammed it straight forward with its pointed tip towards the man's chest.

Doren decided that this was the time. This was the finishing blow. The last resort. Ashuron had lept into a frenzy. The poison would rush through him much more quickly. Doren silently smiiled. The Elf had fallen right into his trap. As the sword was pushed forward Doren thrusted his bow aside, knowing there was not enough time to strap it to his back, and drew his sword. He crouched down to center himself and lept upwards towards the sword and parried. He then lept back and awaited the outcome of his maneuver, still clutching his side and his arm. The elf was no doubt a skillful warrior but he obviously could not maintane his calm under the pressure of such a factor in battle as poison.

The poison began to make Ashuron's mind cloud over, leaving only his body, which seemed to redouble its efforts, as it slipped even farther into its frenzied rage. Ashuron's speed and strength increased, leading to more and more slashes with his sword at greater strength, and close range. His sword slashed first from above, then from below, and then from either side, forming a hazardous cross of gold.

Doren felt his side began to ache. He blocked many of the swords blows as his body aswell was pushed into a frenzy. His sword was swift and graceful and it sang like the valar as it collided each time with the blade of Ashuron's.
(I was to lazy to take damage in that post so just keep it going and i'll take s'more the next one.)

Ashuron spun around, his long hair spinning with him and whipping past Ilius' face in a blur of gold. A half-second later, Ashuron's blade swung around as well, aiming straight for his opponent's injured side.
OOC: Did you only block in the previous post and not attack? If you did make some attack, tell me and I'll take some damage, but it seems to me all you did was parry.

(no i didnt attack. to lazy XD)
Doren turned and met the blade with his own, his sword singing as it was brought to the steel of Ashuron's. It was risky to go onto the offensive therefore he would have to maintane his defenses.

Ash once again made four slashes with his sword and then made a heavy thrust forward with at Ilius' chest, making each attack move more quickly than the one before.

Doren gripped his side as Ashuron's swipes continued to push ever closer to him and then he realized. Poison is not the way to win. I shall take on this elven warrior another day with my own skills and not the skills of toxins. Finally his mind was at ease and as he closed his eyes he felt Ashuron's sword sear through his flesh. He fell to the ground and in simultaneous irony, his mask fell from his face. He had been defeated.

Ash continued his mad slashes, not aware for a few seconds that the one whom had called himself Ilius had fallen. He drove his blade into the ground and used it to support himself as he fell to the ground. Ash looked at the man's unmasked face and thought to himself, So, it was Doren.

Aragorn rose from his seat in the pavilion, and leapt over the barrier, hurrying to his cousin's side. He smiled at the young man's nerve, but was impressed he had managed to nearly best Ashuron. He lifted him up, and he and Ash bore him to the Houses of Healing.
