"But what dost thou here in Minas Tirith, Murazor?" Aragorn queried, puzzled. "It has been many a long day and a day since mine eyes have rested upon thee? Where hast thou been? What may I do to aid thee now?"

Eowyn looked to him in surprise and took a sip out of her mug. "Seems you got another powerfull allie, Aragorn. You are blessed." she said with a crafty smile in Aragorns direction. She streched her legs under the table. "I heared about the dead of Dindaedel. All of our enemies are vanished finally and Middle Earth has its peace back? Thats good news. We have to deal a lot with fixing the assault of the Dragon in Ithilien. Peace is much appreciated."

"Indeed thou speakest sooth, White Lady," answered Aragorn. "It gladdens my heart to welcome thee back to these shores, good Murazor. And of course my hand in comradeship shall be thine, and perhaps even a post of high honour in Gondor, if thou wouldst have it: a High Councillor, a General - or do thy wishes venture elsewhere? How may I welcome thee into my confidence?"

" I iwll take what ever post is given to me , but keep my name secret , there is one who will seek me until he has slayed me again , and not even the high walls of the city would keep me safe , but act as a prison "

"Very well," Aragorn answered. "Thou shalt have the command of my armies, thy authority only below mine. And thy shalt take a new name, and with thy leave I shall name thee Túrin, for thou'rt cursed with a pursuer. But let thy fate not be that of thy namesake - shake off this evil, and trust to me for aid - I shall ever be thy comrade in any need. Shall this arrangement suit thee?"

Eowyn smiled at him and bowed her head slightly. "It was nice to meet you ... Turin. I hope we will see us again."

"Very well, then, Murazor - Túrin," Aragorn added with a smile. "Return when thou mayest, and thou shalt have a home within Minas Tirith as long as thou shalt desire. Ever look to me as thy comrade now, and I shall aid thee in whatever way I may."

{We'll just assume he's already off.}
"Well, my lady," continued Aragorn after the table had seen a few moments' thought. "Gondor's reserve grows stronger, though I wish forsooth I knew what 'tis which so besetteth him. But thou'rt up from Emyn Arnen - is there aught amiss?"

She shoke her head. "Its getting better now. It was a lot of work to undo the damage, and if you would visit it, you would still see the scars in the landscape, but Ithilien has seen a lot dark things in the past and recovered everytime. No, actually there is not much to do for me and I thought I visit Minias Tirith again and see how the things are." she answered.

"Good, well then my heart warms to hear it. Minas Tirith is all the better for thy visit, m'lady. We proser and we do well, in the main now that the evil of Morsereg Dindaedel hath been lifted from the circles of the world. Tales of his end have reached thine ears, I trust?"

"Indeed it reached my ears. The men didn't speak of anything else for weeks, after they came back from the battle. It make me itchy not having seen it atself. I was too long lazy and trapped in my other duties." She twinkled. "You know of what I speak. I am not very patient with house keeping. Another reason for me to come to Minas Tirith. I am longing for more excitement than to clean childrens noses and to learn how to cook." She laughed.

He laughed in return and settled back into his seat, swilling from his mug comfortably. "I would have thought as much, Eowyn," he said. "Old hands ne'er change, the sage sayeth, and women change but less. Unless they change their minds, which happeneth oft enow, says I, but that it another matter. It would have done thee good to at least have seen the fight from afar, if not to have been in the battle, though I do not think my steward would have much cared for that."
