After the battle the dead and wounded of Saeros men were brought into the white city and prepared for their transport to Rivendell and Enedwaith. The host of the wounded assembled slowly again and marched with their dead heros back at home, while the other gathered and lingered in Gondor, to wait for a command of Lord Saeros.

The Hosts of Enedwaith and Rivendell that had come south with all dispatch were accorded great honour by the armies of Gondor, the men allowing the visitors to share their rooms when space was crowded, and eating meals together as one Host. Saddened were all when Lord Saeros came down from the City and led his men homeward.
