The rider of Enedwaith assembled behind the wargs and awaited the Rohirrim as well in anticipation. Their horses where jumpy and wild and the men chanted rough with deep throats songs of battle and victory. They slammed their short swords at the shields and hummed. (ever seen mongolian riders? Image the riders of Enedwaith like them. )

A messenger rode over the rising sun of morning and made his way to Noredred. He was tired from the ride from Isengard and was very hasty in his message. "My lord, Lord Doren has said that a retreat back to Arnor be issued."
Noredred was troubled by this request but would question the will of Arnor's Steward on a latter day. "Very well."
The banner carrier standing beside Noredred gave him a last look of question and, after receiving no further distaste for the orders he blew the horn signalling a retreat.
The people of Arnor and of Rohan ceased fighting and departed the wall and plains before Helm's Deep. The feild was silent and the forces of Enedwaith and Angmar looked questioningly at Noredred whom they knew to be the commander of Arnor's forces this day. Noredred nodded to them and once the host was assembled they began their march back to Arnor.
Noredred looked to the rising sun and though he feared what might have transpired at Isengard he still looked to the bright sun in happiness that few if no lives were yet lost due to the feutile assult on Helm's Deep.

Ilmare watched suspicious at the retreat of Arnor. She rode to Alucard and said: "Something happens in Isengard. We should retreat as well and meet the forces of Gondor on their way. If things went ill, they would have send a messenger, so it must be something other." She gave command to pull back from the walls and reassemble for their march towards Isengard. Ilmare and Alucard decided not to wait for the entire host but to ride quick ahead and see what happened.
