"I am sorry to hear of your losses. It seems you are left alone and to fend for yourself then. Not a simple task for a lady these days. Tell me, Lady Arien, what is your occupation. I assume it is somthing quite profitable to afford you the luxury of travelling about Middle Earth attending extravagant parties such as this."

"Good, let us return to the ball then " he said quickly hoping to get back to Siranna , who was staring at him , and stoped for one second and said to Doren " Why dont you ask the lady over there to dance with you , im sure shed agree to dance with a Kingly man"he looked over to Arienthen he backed away form Doren then went back to Siranna. Doren shrugged and walked towards the woman that Murazor had gestured to. He felt soewhat awkward barging into two peoples' conversation and stood there for a moment before deciding he would just casually join their conversation and then perhaps suggest they dance. But no one had ever told him to ask for a dance and frankly at that moment he wondered about the Alatariel. For some reason. He didn't know why, he just did. Her sister was here but not her. Perhaps she would arrive on a later time. Doren nodded as he stepped towards the two and smiled rather crookedly. He recognized the man standing opposite Arien and nodded to him. He knew who he was by the way he stood. This was that man who went by the name of Garland. Where he pledged his true loyalties was a question to many but Doren thought that perhaps they wondered the same of him. "Good evening, My Friends."

Garland smirked. "Ah, so you indeed to serve King Aragorn. And what services do you intend to provide him, m'lady? I would think the King of Gondor has all the servant and such he can handle."

Garland laughed. "Well, want sort of talents do you have? Surely you must have some position you seek. Well, no matter, I wish you luck in your service to Gondor. If it does not work out to your liking though, perhaps I could find some positon for you in Mithlond."

"Ah, so your father gave his life for Gondor and for this your family was so richly rewarded that you yourself now wish become the King's servant." He replied sarcastically. "Do you have any skill with a blade? A bow? Or do you wish to serve in a non-military position?"

Morsereg nodded, "I apologize, Theatana, but I'll talk to you later on, I have someone I must see," And with that he moved off to find Doren, frowning underneath his mask.

Garland looked to the man that interrupted the conversation, seeing it was Doren. He smirked under his mask. "Ah, if it isn't my old friend King Doren or Arnor.... or should I Rhun? Are the rumors of your abandonment of Arnor true my friend?"

Doren silently scowled beneath his mask. "There was nothing I could do. Now I am once again King of Arnor and of Rhun. My people have returned to their homes and are living peacefully now. I myself have heard that you have quite a nice deal aswell. Moria and Mithlond. Word of the Ered Luin aswell? Correct me if I'm wrong but was it not the creatures of Moria and Elves of Mithlond fighting for domination? Well done, My friend."

"So, the noble Doren is once again ruler of Arnor. Good tidings these are, and to think, word never reached me of any scuffle between your army and that of Angmar. There would not have been some pact between you and....Morsereg Dinadael, would there?" Garland smiled widely behind his mask. "No, I forget myself, you would never sink to dealing with ones you deem so far beneath yourself, would you." Garland downed the last of his drink and took another from a tray. He lifted his glass. "A toast..... to both of our accomplishments."
