The 5000 wolfes of Enedwaith slammed their teeth into elvenflesh. The 5000 horse riders wheeled their swords and stabbed with their pikes into the lines. The hilltop was stained red for blood.

Garland's calvary took the top of the hill, exterminating Murazors force, taking no loss.
((Hows that for a post? Thats that. Murazor, number 1: You were atop the hill, no way your calvary tore right through 5000 wrags, and 10,000 cavalry to be at the bottom. you are surrounded, your post makes no since.))

The elves shot over and over , riping arrows out of the fallen enemys or there comarades who had fallen to enemy bow fire,
At last the calvary got to the top and galloped through the dwarfs who they cared not of , they would surely get trampled by the oncoming horse behind them.
Then suddenly the horns of the elder had sounded the elves of Mirkwood could be seen , not within bow range but they marched non the less.
(i got permission from sirranna that i could use her army )
(is arnor in this battle there armys here but)

((Eh, yeh, we are already done here. You are flanked on every side atop a hill and you are out numbered. All of a sudden your cavalry is at the bottom of the hill - 'Ridding through the our entire armies I suppose with no loss, where you then post our forces are swept away. You have no grasp of whats going on. As for Siranna's army, thats good, it needs to be in opne RP her bringing them her or posting somewhere that she sends them, not that they just are here.))

Hey for a guy whos compaling did you not read , my calavry chraged down the east flank , whiel you were coming up and you were just writing about attacking themiddle so attacked your bottom and swept them away , uts nit ny fault, and its a bit obvious , if he has to go to war shes gonna get worried send men to aid , duh, and its like your controlling where my men are , there was non calvary at the top fighting so they didnt get massacre by your calvary while my ones charged down the hill , and you just ignore arnor , who are also in this war so dont come like that to me )

((I propose we let Aaron look on this. He is back in probably 12 hours, so just let us sit back and wait patiently and in peace.))

((Arnor has not posted an attack, when Arnor posts an attack, I will adress that attack. Your calvary could not have charged down that east slope. It had 10,000 enemy Cavalry on it. And 'sweeping away our forces' is not quite valid.))

{Well, at the least I will agree that it would be hard for Rivendell's cavalry to charge completely through enemy ranks and take no loss. And, even if they did, they are now at the bottom of the hill, where they are indeed surrounded and have lost the crucial high ground. Now all the enemy has to do is pour arrows into them at range from height and they're mopped up, or pretty mangled. Arnor has not attacked, so no one has ignored them at all. And, I have yet to check, but in open posted RP did Siranna give you permission? If so, then by all means, but if not, since Arnor has posted to aid, you're done. Not being a prick, that's just how I read it.}

{Hmmm...ok about the archers, then. I'm taking everyone's word on a lot of this, since I have limited time at the lib. If their archers are not on the hill, then that's one thing, and yes I see you said your cav got back up, but they just rode through several battalions of staunch dwarves without loss - not possible. And did Siranna give you permission in posted RP or in PM?}

((Yeh, the real problem is that Murazor's cavalry charged through the 10,000 oppossing cavalry on the east slope, with little loss. Proceeded to 'sweep away' 5,000 gobblin archers that were at the bottom of the hill (no loss) then charge back up through 10,000 dwarves to be back up top (no loss). I mean, unless you have the army of the dead, there is no way you are going to do that. Now, of course, 'numbers' don't account for everything, but being out numbered dosn't help you. In the begining, you clearly stated your position was a hilltop. After several posts, your hilltop was surrounded on all sides: Minos' Wrag Ridders on the southern slopes, Garland's 10,000 Cavalry on the Eastern slopes, 5000 Dwarves on the Western and 5000 Dwarves on the Northern. Add to those numbers all of Ilmare's troops. That was all in place when you made this charge straight down the hill, and up again, 'sweeping away the archers and dwarves *thats 15,000* troops you 'swept away with that post-not including if you meant to sweep away Ilmares troops. Fact is, your cavalry was blocked on the side you claim to have charged down, you wouldn't have made it to the bottom.))

Garland fought forward along with others that had sacrificed their steeds to break the through the wall of spears. More and more of Garland's cavalry where making their way to the top, choking in the invaders from Rivendale. The cavalry had paid dearly with loss of life in the charge upwards, but still they fought on with vigor, knowing victory was near with Murazor's forces being flanked on all sides. Garland swung his sword, taking off the hand of an elf as he was drawing his bow before plunging his sword through the fellow's neck. He turned as one of his comrads horses approached, a dead Elite Guard on its back. Garland pulled the man off and leapt atop the horse, spurring it forward as he swung at more enemy fighters.

The Lady of Enedwaith pointed at her archers: "Archers of Enedwaith!" She lowered her hand and send the archers up the north slope of the hill. Ilmare gave the sign for her remaining 10 000 wild men. "Men of Enedwaith! First wing goes south! Second follows me!" she shouted, and directed the first 5000 of her wild men up the south slop of the hill. She raised her sword and lead the remaining 5000 up to the west. They raised their weapons and run growling up the hill.

The force of gobblin archers at the hills base now made their move, they split into two divisions, one going to the west, the other to the northern flank. With the friendly troops at the hill top, random vollies were now too dangerous. The horde spread out and moved upwards quickly, taking well aimed shots at the enemies.
The dwaves were now into the lines of Murazor's men. The heavily armored stout dwarves threw one last throwing axe each into the hated elves before pulling their battle axes and going to work.
Minos turned to see an elf swing his blade at him. He growled and parried the blow as the wrag he had been riding earlier took a bite out of the elf's horse. Minos then turned his attention to another clump of Noldor archers, charging them in a rage. He decapitated one and grabbed another's neck, crushing it with his fist. Wrag riders continued their killing, taking loss, but doing great amounts of damage as they bit and clawed and the riders fired arrows.
Minos climbed to the top of a heap of dead wrags, giving him a clear view of the battlefield. He called out to the leader of Rivendale's force. "Take your invaders and leave while you still have your life. You are outmatched and out flanked. There is no hope for your failed invasion now!"

Gurherdir's ship and five more newly arrived ones entered the harbor, catapults blowing holes in the native elven ships and then pulling up to dock at the docks.
