Doren and the ten men of Bree began to enter Lothlorien. The golden trees shaded them and the sound of wind against their leaves was like wind. Before they could go any further however a troop of elven guards spotted them and aimed their arrows at them "We come in peace! I come seeking the Lord of the Golden Woods."

Ash dropped down from a tree, and with a hand signal from him, the archer's lowered their weapons. "I'm here," he said.

"My lord, I am Doren lord of Arnor, and I seek alliance with the Golden Woods and wish to seek council with you beneath the trees."

Ash leaned against a tree. "Tell me, Doren lord of Arnor, with who else are you allied?"

"As of now I have only travelled to Rohan and Isengard. Rohan accepted my proposal, but Isengard did not. They are led by an Istari of some form. She leads harshly but she spoke of my realm being in danger. She said that Angmar had turned it's vision to the tombs of my people... the Barrow Downs. I seek council with you for I now fear that war shall once again plague Middle Earth."

"Very well. I shall ally my Golden Woods with you. What council do you seek?"

"Now I am curious and seek answers. Legend tells of Galadriel's Mirror and that it can show the future. Does it still dwell in Lorien?"

"It does. I'm afraid I have little paitence for such mystic items these days, but you are welcome to try it."
OOC: I don't think Galadriel took it with her when she went across the sea, but I could be wrong

"Yes." Ash turned around, signaled for two of the elves to accompany him, and started off through the woods. They came to a small area surrounded by a gate which Ash unlocked and then entered. In the middle of the area sat the mirror.

Doren walked down towards it. It was only an empty basin. An elf then took a pitcher of water and carefully poured it into the mirror. Doren looked down into the water and it begen to swirl. Reflections of the trees and the sky above changing. He could see Annuminas burning, and the many blades being destroyed in a furnace. He saw the Barrow Downs and dark spirits rising from the earth. The most horrifying of all was the sight of his people fleeing from their burning homes being chased by orcs, and men. Doren pulled away from the mirror sheilding his eyes. He looked to Ashuron and bowed "Thank you. I have seen enough."

"As I have said, I don't put much faith in it. Sometimes predictions are more cryptic than they appear. What do you plan to do now?" Ash asked.

"I shall return to Annuminas and send a falcon to the rest of the people who'm I wish to have as my allies, and I shall go to the Barrow Downs to find what it is that is so important. Ashuron I would be very greatful if you would put scouts in Arnor's borders. I will do the same for you."

"I will call you when the time arises. I must keep vigilant and watch the Wild men of Enedwaith and Angmar to the North. The Misty Mountains seperate our two lands and Moria is the only known bridge between the mountains. It houses a vast host of Goblins and I fear I cannot keep as close a watch on it. If the forces of Moria stir then send a falcon with red cloth attatched to it's leg to Arnor's border guard. They shall alert the cities of Arnor and we will be prepared for war if it comes."
