Near Ashuron's Council Platform, stands the Great Fountain. It stands as tall as most normal trees and is made of stone in the shape of a tree. From every branch issues forth a fountain of water, falling into a base that extends about 4-and-a-half meters around it.
This is as close as Lothlorien comes to a market or a social area. Each day, many elves and travelers gather here around the base of the fountain.

Teuelen wandered around the fountain area, it was early in the day and there were not many people there yet. She was just enjoying the peacefulness. She sat down at the edge of the fountain, and gazed into the crystal clear water. She sighed quietly to herself, wondering why she was still here. She was beginning to miss her parents and was starting to think there was no other life out there for her but this one.

Siranna was passing through Lorlorien when she saw the young woman at the fountain. She walked over to her and smiled. "Good day my lady." She greeted.

"Hello," Teuelen said looking up from the water. "I don't believe we've met before," she said with a smile. "I'm Teuelen." She offered the lady her hand.

Siranna shook her hand. "Very nice to meet you lady Teuelen. I'm Siranna. Do you live here or just travelling?"

"Pleased to meet you Lady Siranna." She looked around the glade, with a smile, "I live here. And what brings you to Lothlorien."

"Just travelling, possibly to create an alliance between two elven realms of old, but mainly just to travel."

"Oh so you are from Mirkwood then. I hear it's lovely there." Teuelen wouldn't really know though, since she did not leave Lothlorien often.

"Aye. The biggest difference is that Mirkwood is always green but Lothlorien has the beautiful golden leaves. It is a very beautiful realm." She smiled to the young woman.

"Well they don't call this The Golden Wood for nothing," Teuelen smiled though, she had always been proud that she lived in Lorien. "I was meaning to come and visit Mirkwood, out of sheer curiousity."

"Go ahead," Teuelen smiled moving over a little bit. "So tell me, what are things like outside Lothlorien. I live pretty deep in the forset and don't get much news of the outside."

"Nothing major is happening. We believe war may start but we can't be certain. Other than that it's been pretty quiet."
