Oh, and if anyone wants something and Petra isn't around, I'm up to working too. I just made a banner for my charrie Ithilwen, so here's my example work:  (So, yeah, those who participated in contests with me before now probably realize I've gotten better. Of course. I'll get on it right now...  If you don't like how it came out, just do me a favor and give me more than 3 images. Let me give my guidelines for submitting requests: For Me to Accept a Request, You Must Tell Me: 1) What you want on it 2) Who you want it of (You don't HAVE to give me images, but they help alot, and if you do so give me a good amount, like upwards of five) 3) If you give me images, make sure one of them has a solid backround color that you don't mind being the backround of the banner if I have to make it like that so they blend. (Ex. the green tint on Lenclir's and the black on Ithilwens) If the images blend good then the color doesn't matter, but sometimes I have to go with a color. |

Well, then, I got the Exorcism of Emily Rose DVD last night. I love how this these came out, Aaron if you see these feel free to put them in a graphics section or whatnot because they're not character-related.   ((Better now, ne?)) I love how those two came out. Took me all of last night and all of this morning to find out how to take screencaps off of a DVD (Cause Windows Media Player + every other DVD player I have on my computer have protections so you can't screencap DVDs), I eventually just downloaded another player with a built-in screencap feature. |

Nice job! Just a tip: If the images are too dark and don't show up, try duplicating the layer and setting it to Screen 100%.
Might I ask what player you downloaded? Because my computer is like that too and it annoys the crap out of me....

U ever tryed Pressing control and I on windows media player to capture screen shots , it works all the time for me.

Ever tried it on a DVD? Don't think so. DVD's have a specific coding to them that activates a thing in Windows Media Player that won't let you screenshot DVDs. Have to get a program made to ignore the coding.

Hmm maybe u didnt hear me right..,.
For my star wars siggys i used the EPISODE 3 dvd , i insert it into my dvd drive , go to windows media player , then i go to the place on the dvd i want to cap an image from , go there pause it press ctrl and i , and it captures the image for me. Maybe it dosnt work for you but it dose for me , i know u need a certain code to copy dvds onto anopther dvd because ti has a copyright seal etc.. but not to capture the image.

But, hey, out of curiosity Tom, are you one of the people who got a bootleg? I don't think I was the only one on the board who got an Ep. 3 bootleg..
What type of computer, and what version of Windows Media Player do you have? Cause it isn't working for me, and I'm trying it on my Ozzfest DVD, which came out around the same time as Ep. 3
