Cile stared in dismay as his father simply instructed him to attack. It was common sense that an attempted siege would fail unless every one of Moria's forces was there, and that would be suicide to leave his realm unprotected.
"No, father." He said through clenched teeth, taking one last look at the map before turning on a heel and leaving the room back towards Moria. Morsereg's plans were revieled.... At least for a bit. Now was the time to act. But how? When? Where? He had to think...

Khaldun, flanked by two of his assassins moved towards the fort. "So this is the stronghold of Angmar" Khaldun muttered. When they got near to the gate he shouted up to the guards "I am Khaldun, ruler of Rhun. I want entrance to the fort."

The Duskwraith guards glanced at Khaldun, "Lay down your weapons, and you may enter," They awaited for their order to be fulfilled before they opened the door...
Meanwhile...
"We must strike as soon as we can..." Morsereg locked eyes with Alcorad just as a knock came to the door. He turned on his heel when he heard a cry in the Black Speech, twisted by an Orc, come through the door.
He pulled it open with a fierce look in his eye and looked down to the Orc, "What is it?"
"He's collapsed the tunnels, my lord!" The orc cried in the Common Tongue, at which statement Morsereg's eyes opened wide.
"He collapsed the tunnels?" A growl escaped his lips, "He knows what we're planning, Alcorad," He turned again to the Orc, "He collapsed only the tunnels from here to Moria, he knows naught of the other tunnels from Angmar through the mountains. Position Orcs at Mount Gundabad, and Mount Gram. Send the Snow Trolls to the Ettenmoors to get ready for battle, and keep them stationed there. I want the Wargs and Spiders patrolling the Mountains, searching for any signs of Moria soldiers traveling. My spirits shall patrol the tunnels known only to Angmarian soldiers, making sure that there is nothing in the way. I want my Orcs to be able to travel straight through when the time comes."
The Orc nodded, trying to remember it all as he ran off and out of the hall, where a Warg awaited. He mounted the Warg and began riding for the city of Minas Sereg, to rally the troops.

Khaldun nodded to the assassins. All three of them layed their weapons down. "Now open the gate"

The gate was opened, and Khaldun, along with those accompanying him, were granted access. The Duskwraith transmitted the information that the lord of Rhun and two guests were entering through their connection to Morsereg, who nodded to Alcorad, "We have another visitor...Khaldun, lord of Rhun. Shall we go meet him?" He opened the door and walked into the main chamber, where Khaldun was walking with his assassins.

Khaldun saw Morsereg walk out with Alcorad behind him. "I have heard wispers of a war that is about to start, do not worry about how I know. You wouldn't think of going to battle without easterlings now would you?" he said with a grin

Alcorad laughed mockingly at Khaldun's statment. "Whispers already? Why the council has just ended. Surely word hasn't already gone as far East as Rhun." The comedy of the entire affair was almost insane. Here, this man had already heard something far in the East before word could even leave the chambers. He must have heard whispers among the orcs who knew of my arrival. Alcorad concluded simply.
With a slight nod to Khaldun-Nasser and Morsereg, Alcorad left without a word, only sending a wary glance back towards his brother. He stepped back out into the chill night, looking towards the decay in the mountains where the tunnels had been collapsed. "There could be no better irony than the crumbelling of tunnels to signify the death of an alliance. Perfect." A mirthy laugh escaped his lips as he spurred on his beast and lifted into the sky, massive wings carrying him South to the West Gate of Moria.

Khaldun rolled his eyes at Alcorad's statement and ignored it. "Morsereg, I will aid you in this battle if you become my ally"

"We need not the aid of Easterlings. This is a personal affair. My son has closed off valuable pathways, and thus ended our alliance. Rhun has no place in this. You may join in the battle if you wish, but the spoils, Moria, are mine." He smirked devilishly as he locked eyes with Khaldun-Nasser, his gaunt face shining in the pale moonlight that now flooded the windows.

He shrugged "Very well then. Have fun" he nodded to his assassins and the three of them left the fort after picking up their weapons.

Morsereg watched Khaldun lead with sallow eyes as he turned his back, making his way to the balcony. He was on the topmost spire of Carn Dum, and thus high enough up to address his army. He turned to an Orc who stood at his side, who drew out a horn and blew hard, the resulting noise bouncing off mountains within the realm of Angmar, however inchanted so that it would go no farther.
At that moment, all the hordes of Angmar rushed from their posts to the fortress of Carn Dum, and as they assembled, Morsereg's face lit up with a dark passion. "My army! My dark warriors of Angmar! For too long has our 'ally', Cile Dindaedel of Moria, stood there inactive. Too long, has he refused to follow orders. Too long, has he argued against us. Against me, his creator!" He roared loud enough for his army to hear.
"Tonight, we avenge this mockery! Tonight, Moria falls!" He cried to the army, who responded with a chorus of deep-throated, dark cheers. "March, my armies! Let them know pain!"
And thus 20,000 thousand of Morsereg's army set out, and the Valar cried in their immortal halls as one of their chief emissaries swung the stroke to start the fall.

Lancir walked into the fortress and was stopped by the gaurds. "I have come to see an old friend"

"The lord is not here at the moment. He has gone to battle," The orc-guard stated. The Duskwraiths had been taken to battle, so the fortress was guarded by Orcs. "If you would like to stay here until the Lord returns, a room could be supplied for you."

The orcs nodded, and of the two that stood guard one motioned for Lancir to follow him. They treked up through the many spires of Carn Dum, making it to one of the guest chambers. The orc opened the door to let Lancir in, "I shall make the king aware of your being here as soon as he returns from Moria."
